I love my Dental Hygienist, Erica. She is the queen of teeth cleaning! As well as educating me and answering all of my questions. I always get great recommendations from her too as far as toothbrushes, teeth whiteners, water flossers, all things teeth! She has many years of experience and you can tell…she really gives it her everything when cleaning, and is clearly passionate about what she does.

Absolutely the BEST dental office I have ever been to! Dr. Boatman is so nice and very gentle while working on teeth. Each of the several assistant’s that have worked with him are equally nice, very personable and knowledgeable as they assist Dr. Boatman. I have dental offices that are much closer to my home BUT the destination for my 45 minute drive is totally worth it.

I have been searching for a a good dentist, today I found a great dentist and staff. The exam is very thorough and everyone takes time to explain everything. If you have dental anxiety this is your place, the staff goes out of their way to ease anxiety and they do offer several options to help ease any remaining anxiety.

I really appreciate the entire team at Troy family dental. The transformation process is still ongoing but I really pleased with the treatment plan completed thus far. Today Dr Spencer is totally dedicated to his craft and it’s Easily displayed with the many recurring customers at his practice. Healthcare — including dental care — is expensive to say the least. I think that this practice gives patients many financial choices to help people afford some of the work not covered by insurance. After all, insurance coverage stops at basic dental health — having a pretty smile or implants doesn’t fall under the basic health/dental care description. The fact that this practice is willing to give financial options says a lot. You don’t find that level of service in all dental practices. Thank you, Troy Family Dental, for providing great service!

As usual, even with a worst case dental emergency, Dr. Boatman was honest, reassuring, and persistant enough to get the details right. Everything was perfect and he and his staff are always gracious, professional and truly kind! He never assumes I am pain free while he is working with me and he asks me regularly if I am comfortable ( pain free). If I even hesitate, he administers additional numbing or if I find the procedure is stressful I can choose to have nitrous to breathe. What could be any better?! This place is wonderful efficient, caring and aesthetically pleasing with impressive equipment, technology and expert care.

I LOVE Dr. Boatmen and his staff at Troy Family Dental! They are top notch, THE BEST! Dr. Boatmen stays up to date with changes in dentistry, new equipment, new treatment protocols, etc. He is THE BEST! I can not stress that enough. Everyone that I have interacted with does an excellent job of explaining what's wrong, what the options are to fix the problem, the cost of the procedure, etc. They answer ALL my questions and do so with a smile. Seriously cannot say enough good things about Troy Family Dental. My young daughters and myself have been going here for years. They are always accommodating when it comes to grouping our appointments. My kids always feel comfortable and they are never forced to do anything they are scared of. Just got my wisdom teeth removed under sedation and it’s been the best experience I’ve ever had
having teeth removed. We will be going here for as long as we can!

Today was my first time visiting this Dental Office and OMG......all of the staff was amazing, especially Amanda!! I have had traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, but Troy Family Dental was not one of them! They were so nice and explained everything they were going to do and why. Never had such a wonderful experience. If I could rate them a 10, I would!!!

I was a nervous wreck!! Jamie was so calming and took such care of everything to make me comfortable. Dr. Spencer was so gentle I never felt ANYTHING!!! And I was having crown work on TWO teeth!!!! I have never walked out of a dentist office feeling so good!!!:)

Dr. Spencer was wonderful with my 8-year-old. She’s terrified of shots and he was able to give her two shots without her even noticing! She even told me that she wants to only see Dr. Spencer from now on. All of the dental hygienists and assistants are so sweet and friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

I just left Troy Family Dental and I Dr. Spencer and his staff are the greatest. I was so amazed how easily he did my procedure. He was very knowledgeable and just turned my frown into a smile. There's not enough words that I can say to thank him. I've been to several dentist in Cahokia, Alton and Granite City and they have them all beat by a long run. I've been seeing Dr. Spencer for approximately 3 years and the entire time he has listened to my concerns about my teeth and takes the time to work with me to find the solutions needed. He does this while displaying caring professionalism and his knowledge of complicated dentistry issues. I drive 80 minutes to have my dental work completed with Troy Family Dental because of the quality of dental work done there.

The always friendly Dr. Jordan Spencer is very understanding and gentle with the anxiety that comes along with dental procedures. They are all very friendly. The atmosphere is very calm. They were able to attend to my emergency the same day and schedule me for follow-up procedures immediately even though they are in great demand at this time. This is a great establishment and family business. The staff is super friendly and Drs Boatman and Spencer are great. They explain and make your visit an education, so you understand what is going on. They are extremely thorough in all aspects of your teeth and mouth, from cleaning to using technology to quickly identify issues. Then they will work with you to figure out what is best for you and your situation. The business is always clean and professional even during a pandemic. Great Place!

Dr. Boatman and his staff took amazing care of my family for years and years. When my job took us away from the area, we were all sad to lose him as our dentist. Flash forward a few years to yesterday. I developed a tooth problem my dentist couldn't get to the bottom of, so I called Dr. Boatman's office and said if I drove 6+ hours to see him if they would work me in even though it had been a few years since I'd been a regular patient. Of course, they were more than happy to do so. To make a long story short, Dr. Boatman, as usual, expertly got to the root of the problems (pun intended) and this morning I awoke pain-free! God bless Troy Family Dental...a level of service so rare in this day and age!

I have been having issues with my denture. Then I saw Dr. Boatman on Great Day talking about mini implants. So I called his office. Within 2 weeks, I had mini implants and was able to use my existing denture. The staff in his office are always smiling and very pleasant. I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to get an appointment and get my issues resolved. You couldn't ask for better care! Dr. Boatman will always bring back that great smile in you!

This is my first review after nizagara, considering my past experiences with dental offices this says a lot about the staff at Troy Family Dental. My wife and I are not fans of going to the dentist, she has been hounding me for a year to go to Dr. Boatman because of the great experience she has every time. It started a couple of years ago when she had severe tooth pain on Christmas day when they were closed. She had never been to him, yet he was able to do what needed to be done to quickly relieve her pain and fixed the issue permanently within days. He has all the latest technology, taking care of most cavities with a laser, no need for shots or drills. The entire staff explains everything very well, they are always thorough. They work to get you the best price, discounts for those paying cash. They only do procedures when it is truly necessary if something can wait for a better time for you or your insurance they will wait. Communication is key and they are one of the best I have dealt with in any line of business hands down!

My husband Ryan told me about Dr. Boatman and thank goodness that he did. We were pretty unhappy with our dentist because we felt like he was not communicating well with us and just assumed we had unlimited dollars to spend on dental work. Ryan had a filling that cracked after a week or two and our previous dentist just said, "Yep, let's just put a crown on it." No explanation, no nothing Just. give me another $1200.
